5 important things to remember when preparing to teach online

1) Ensure instructor presence throughout the course

2) Design your course for student activity (rather than content delivery)

3) Clearly define course expectations

4) Start the course slowly and simply, limiting content specific information and focusing on learner introductions and group cohesion.

5) Create a manageable pace throughout the course providing resources and frequent and timely feedback.
